Out Back Learning

In September 2019, I became the Business Owner & Educator of Out Back Learning, LLC an outdoor (home-based provider) part-time nature preschool.

What inspired me to open Out Back Learning LLC was my desire to grow my knowledge in Early Childhood Education and discover new and innovative ways to work with young children. I had the opportunity to attend a conference in 2018 at Prescott College, where I learned about nature-based and place-based early childhood education.

The movement inspired me, so I implemented the ideas and knowledge with my students the following school year, which led to gardening and outdoor lessons.

Out Back Learning LLC is the first nature-based early childhood education program in Southern Arizona. Our desert climate, neighborhood location, and gardening make Out Back Learning LLC unique.
